Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in our service prices; however, we reserve the right to add 18% to packages, parties and groups.
Fifteen to twenty percent is customary; however, this is only a guideline. For your convenience, we accept gratuity payment in the form of cash, check and credit / debit cards at the time of checkout.
Pre-purchased discount coupons (i.e. Groupon, etc.): Affinity and staff agreed to participate with these programs for the purpose of giving you an affordable opportunity to become introduced to the difference in wellness by using organic treatments. Our staff receives a minimal amount for these coupon services. We ask that you are generous with your gratuity as we provide our best services and products on these pre-purchased discounts.
Scheduling
Depending on the flexibility of your schedule and to ensure your desired date, we recommend making your reservation one to two weeks in advance for mid-week appointments and two to three weeks in advance for weekend appointments. For all appointments, we strive to accommodate last minute needs, even walk-Ins, but you may not have ability to choose your desired person when requesting on such short notice.
Requesting Your Therapist
Depending on your preference, you may request to have a variety or just one professional perform services when packages are purchased. We recommend you find the right person that satisfies your personal needs. Our professionals are trained as a team to allow our guests to move freely throughout Affinity to ensure your choices, as you become a valued client in all services we offer at Affinity Salon & Spa.
All of our massage therapists and aestheticians are trained to discreetly drape areas of your body, not involved in the treatment, and to protect your privacy at all times.
Health Considerations
Please inform Guest Services, when making your reservation, if you have high blood pressure, allergies, other physical ailments or disabilities or if you are pregnant, so we can assist you in selecting the most appropriate treatments. Treatments for pregnant guests are available.
Deposits
Reservations are held with a Visa, Master Card or Cash. (we do not accept American Express or Discover)
Specialty Services of 2 or more hours, Parties / Groups require 50% deposit.
Cancellations
24 hour cancellation notice is required or a 50% fee for non-cancellations or no-show appointments will be charged.
Parties / Groups and Specialty Services require 1 week cancellation notice or deposit will be forfeited.
Special promotions (Groupon or advertising discounts), Gift Cards, and Gift Certificates require the same cancellation or 50% of value is deducted.
Transactions & Privacy
All transactions are to be handled at front desk.
All cash gratuity is retained and given to your service professional at the end of each day. Credit / Debit gratuity is retained until payday.
For safety reasons and to protect agreements with our staff, payment of services rendered, exchanges, and personal information (e.g. phone, email, address) must be conducted at our front desk.
Your privacy is important to us! We will not willfully disclose any specific individual information about its members (including email addresses) to any third party unless you give us your express permission. Standing Appointments
A standing appointment at Affinity Salon & Spa guarantees that you will enjoy the day, time, designer or therapist of your choice, each time you visit. It is the most consistent way to look and feel your best. To schedule your standing reservation, please call Affinity Guest Services at 972.771.3808.
Attire
Dress comfortably for all services. If you have plans for afterwards, we encourage you to bring change of clothes. We suggest that jewelry and valuables are left at home as we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. It is recommended during a spa treatment that street clothing is removed, although undergarments may be worn if preferred.
Friends & Family
We welcome single or multiple appointments; however, we ask kindly, only persons getting services are allowed in Salon or Spa service areas.
If a parent wishes to be with children during services, we will bring seating accommodations upon request.
Please do not sit in stations or spa / pedicure bench while waiting.
We have a complimentary beverage and relaxation area for waiting ~ we wish for you to enjoy your time at Affinity.
Quiet Please
To maintain our peaceful atmosphere, we ask that you turn off or on vibrate your cell phone while visiting our location. Life happens therefore emergency calls will be the only exception; please advise the front desk of this possibility upon arrival. Management reserves the right to ask your service person to stop service if this is not respected in a way that takes others into consideration.
Children
This is your day to relax. We request that children do not accompany unless they are scheduled for a service. We do offer a "Mommy & Me" package available on Tuesdays and other child appropriate times - please discuss when scheduling your reservation so that we may take into consideration other spa parties that may be pre-booked during this request.
Upon Arriving
From the moment you walk through our doors your experience will begin with our consultation and beverage service. While you wait, sample a retail product or tour our facility. For your convenience, we will provide you with appropriate change of clothing for scheduled service. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early for paperwork, consultation and a cup of fresh herbal tea.
Food / Beverage
Salon / Spa lunches are available upon request at the time of reserving your appointment. For further details, please call Guest Services at 972.771.3808.
We stock several beverages to choose from during your visit; however, alcohol may influence and obstruct circulation and detoxification. We recommend that you do not consume alcohol at least 12 hours prior to your reservation. We recommend that you consume at least three 8 ounce glasses of water when services have been performed to maximize results. You may bring your own beverages and cakes for special occasions as arranged when making reservations.
